2017 University of Michigan Physics Summer REU Application
Applications are now closed for the 2017 summer program. For full consideration all materials were due on Friday, February 10, 2017. Applications will be reviewed as they are completed, and offers to outstanding applicants may be made in advance of the deadline. Mailed Materials should be sent no later than February 8th, 2017.
To be eligible for this REU program students:
Most students admitted to the program are between their third and fourth year of undergraduate education. Occasionally, students who are between their second and third year are admitted.

The following is the information you will need in order to complete this application. Please ensure that you have it all when you start, as applications cannot be saved and returned to later.
The Physics REU sites directors will utilize a common deadline of March 3, 2017, for students to accept or decline first round offers at domestic (non-international) sites. Sites may send offers to students at any time before this date, and students may accept or decline offers at any time after receipt, but students will not be required to decide before March 3. Because of necessary organizational lead time, international REU sites may require earlier acceptance dates.
While you will provide an unofficial transcript at this time, if you are selected as a participant for Summer 2017, have an official transcript sent to:
